Robert M. Paul is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. Physician Assistants are concerned with preventing and treating human illness by providing a broad range of health care services under the direction of a physician. Rob brings two years experience in orthopedics and emergency medicine. Rob also completed an intense clinical rotation schedule at several hospitals and private practices in Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. Rob completed his undergraduate studies at San Diego State University, San Diego, CA and completed his Master of Medical Science - Physician Assistant Program at Arcadia University, DE. Paul is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc. He is also certified as a Health Care Provider, Basic Life Support and Provider of Advanced Cardiac Life Support both by the American Heart Association.
Rob holds Memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants and San Diego Society of Physician Assistants.
Rob enjoys spending time at the beach and camping with his family and dog on the weekends. He also enjoys watching the Chargers win football games and snowboarding in the wintertime.
Rob focuses on working to restore optimal function in people who have suffered injuries, pain and disability from various sources. His goal is to provide a comprehensive non-surgical approach to pain and injury by focusing on the whole person and assisting the patient in the understanding of their condition and taking control of their own health. He works in conjunction with other healthcare professionals including medical doctors, physician assistants, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, nutritionists, psychologists to direct a treatment team to develop a comprehensive program specific to a patient's needs and conditions.
James Ward, Jr., P.T.

James Ward, Jr., P.T. is a California board licensed physical therapist with 29 years of experience in physical therapy and rehabilitation. He attained his degree in Physical Therapy and Health Science from California State University, Northbridge and the University of California, Los Angeles, Hospitals and Cllinics in 1984. As a student, he was a member of the Dean's list, and honors graduate. Mr. Ward has extensive experience in work injury management and has completed an instructional program through Work Well Systems, Inc and is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), Functional Job Analysis (FJA), and Pre Work Screening (PWS).
Mr. Ward is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and keeps himself updated with the latest research and techniques. He is also a APTA Certified Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Mr. Ward incorporates philosophies of ergonomics, yoga therapy, aerobic, weight training, specialized soft tissue mobilization techniques, and Maitland mobilization techniques into patient care, rendering highly effective outcomes for recovery and long term prevention.
Mr. Ward formed WorkFit Physical Therapy in 1997, his own physical therapy private practice in San Diego which specialized in outpatient orthopedic, occupatoinal health and sports rehabilitation. Under his tenure as owner, president and CEO, Workfit Physical Therapy developed contracts with over 100 San Diego based businesses including UPS, Marriot Hotels, and the Salk Institute. His highly successful private practice was purchased by Michigan based Solvis Medical Group and AMS Outsourcing in 2007 and he assumed a consultant position thru 2010.
Mr. Ward formally joined R.I.S.E. Wellness Center as a physical therapist independent contractor in March 2012, because of it's commitment and focus on a multidisciplinary approach to treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. He is currently president and owner of James Ward, Jr, .P.T. dba Ward Rehabilitation and Associates, a physical therapy independent contracting service.

Maxine Rostolder, R.D.
Maxine Rostolder is a registered dietitian who focuses on the promotion of food as preventive medicine. Maxine’s food and nutrition philosophy incorporates a real food focus, moving us away from highly processed foods. She believes in a realistic and individualized approach to meet each client’s needs, preferences, and budget. Her mission is not only to educate her clients on how to live a healthy lifestyle, but also to inspire and motivate each client to take action and charge of their lives for a long, healthy future.
Maxine enjoys living an active lifestyle through hiking, running, cooking, snowboarding and brushing up on her Spanish language skills to name a few. She is very adventurous and has shown this through her many travels all over the world to places such as China, Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Ireland, and Israel. Throughout all of her travels, her primary focus was to learn about the culture and their cuisine. When Maxine is not traveling abroad, you are most likely to find her in her kitchen testing out new recipes.
Maxine attended Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus and graduated with highest honors with a degree in Nutrition. Upon graduation, she moved to Keene, NH to complete a dietetic internship with Keene State College.
