Rob Cohen DC, BA, PES
R.I.S.E. Wellness Center

R.I.S.E. Wellness would like to welcome a real Pro to our Healthcare Team: Dr. Rob Cohen, D.C., BA, PES.

Dr. Cohen comes to us from the San Fransisco Bay area where he has been practicing for the past 13 years and was Chiropractor and Trainer to the Stanford University Wrestling Team and many other Stanford Athletes, Faculty, and Students for a number of years. Additionally, he interned for the Chiropractor of the San Fransisco 49ers and San Fransisco Giants upon graduating from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic-West.

Rob Cohen is a California native being born in the San Fransisco Bay Area and then growing-up in North County San Diego as a youngster. He attended Capri Elementary in Leucadia, San Dieguito High in Encinitas (class of 1986), and Palomar Community College in San Marcos after High School. After graduating from San Jose State University and working in Corporate America for a time, Dr. Cohen decided to pursue his lifelong interest in healthcare. Since his graduation, he's helped thousands of people from Olympic and professional athletes, to corporate CEO's, to Medical Doctors, to laborers, to families, and to people of all walks of life in achieving greater health and pain-free living. In addition, Dr. Cohen was trusted enough to gain referrals to and from Medical Doctors and other healthcare professionals where he has practiced.

His system of integrative healthcare is successful not only in reducing pain and rehabilitating injuries, but also injury prevention and overall health enhancement by reducing the risk factors for the diseases and lifestyle issues of today. By working with other Healthcare Professionals like Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists, Acupuncturists, Nutritionists, Massage and Personal Trainers, Dr. Cohen believes that this integrative method is the best philosophy for overall healthcare.

His personal interests include gaining new knowledge from research articles to provide better, more cutting-edge care. Also, Rob is a huge sports fan and loves watching football, baseball, and surfing. He is an ex-athlete (Sandieguito High and Palomar CC) and has been an avid surfer since his teenage years. On his free time, Dr. Cohen surfs, relaxes with his family, and tries to catch a ballgame if time permits. He occasionally golfs and could definitely work on improving his game. He's active and therefore understands people's need too function pain-free and to thrive in life long doing what they love to do; and to do it well into old-age.

Other than family, there is nothing more fulfilling for Dr. Cohen than watching people get out of pain and increase their health due to his direction and advice. Due to some early deaths with his family members who had cardio-vascular disease, Dr. Cohen feels a strong devotion to help others not only with their injuries, but their lifestyle corrections as well. Most illnesses and early deaths are preventable. It is this fact that drives Dr. Cohen's passion.

Dr. Cohen and his wife Suzanne have two sons and live here in North County.
